She remembers the act to this day. Her father was a huge fan, and invited Gali-Gali to dinner. Mr. Gali-Gali wouldn't eat because he had a show to do -- but he sat with my grandfather and his daughters and performed 'close-up" magic for them. My mother has never forgotten this remarkable entertainer. Thank you for posting this video and giving me a chance to see the act that impressed my mother so much. I watched it many times. Joseph on the late 90's had a show at the Lamb theatre in NYC. It was one of the best Magic shows ever. I am sorry to see he did not have the financial success he truly deserves. He is truly talented. I am amazed that Lance Burton gets millions and Joseph did not. It appears that showbiz is not fair.
